Ontario Veterinary College 2016

Hello, I’m Dr. Harrison.
I was born and raised in the small town of Tecumseh near Windsor, Ontario. I was inspired to become a veterinarian when my precious childhood companion Daisy, a Cairn terrier, became ill in her old age. I spent a lot of time carefully keeping track of her symptoms and caring for her during her illness. When it was time to say good-bye, I was truly amazed by the care and compassion that the veterinary team demonstrated to my family. It was then that I knew that I wanted to become a veterinarian so that I could provide that same care and support to other animals and their owners. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor in 2012 before graduating from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. I believe that there are few things that are as special as the human-animal bond. It brings me great joy to be able to educate and help owners with their pet’s healthcare concerns.

I currently share my life with Rico, an adorable Chihuahua cross, who came into my life during my vet school journey. When I am not at the clinic, you can usually find me spending time with my family and friends, walking my dog, and cooking. I am excited for the opportunity to work alongside such a fantastic veterinary team as I start my career. I cannot wait to meet you and your furry friends in the exam room soon!
