Ontario Veterinary College 2006

Hi, I’m Dr. Johnson… I graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph in 2006. After working at two other practices, I joined Dr. Rosely and the team in 2010. I have an interest in small animal ultrasound as well as geriatric medicine. I find my work most rewarding when I am solving problems – from small things like figuring out the easiest way a client can administer medication to their cat, to big things like finally reaching an elusive diagnosis or seeing a sick patient recover under my care. I enjoy educating my clients about their pet’s health concerns so that they are better able to help their pets. Spending time with some of my favourite clients and pets is a fun part of my workday.

I currently have Mickey, a senior Golden Retriever and 2 cats, Kylie and Kitten. Nothing can match the unconditional love of a pet, but they are a lot of work and a big responsibility. I believe we have an obligation to pay back that love by ensuring that we take care of their physical and mental health. In October 2014 my partner and I welcomed our two sons, Finlay and Theo into the world! We are so proud of them, and I enjoy seeing them learn, develop, and truly enjoy life like only children can! In my time off, I try to fit in some running, reading and family time.  I’ll see you and your pet soon in the exam room!
