For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to work with animals. Growing up, everything in my life was animal-centric, and as soon as I was old enough to say “vet”, I knew it was the career for me. I was able to further my childhood dreams when I joined Hollybank as a high school co-op student in February 2022, and have continued as a veterinary assistant ever since! Since then, I have gone on to attend the University of Guelph, where I am currently completing my BSc. in Zoology. Armed with my experiences, studies, and mentoring from the rest of the amazing Hollybank staff, I hope to translate my passion for animals, human connection, and interest in medicine into a future career as a veterinarian.
As a lifelong Miltonian, one of my favourite parts of the job is getting to connect with local people and pets alike; it’s a pleasure getting to meet and work with all your four-legged friends!
In my spare time, I am an avid birder, painter, and hobby photographer. I also enjoy volunteering as a bird bander during the migration seasons.
