I didn’t have a pet growing up, so the very first thing I did when I was on my own was visit my local SPCA. That’s where I met Tinker—the first of many rescues who would change my life forever.
My journey in animal health began when I saw an ad for a Veterinary Office Assistant course. I couldn’t sign up fast enough! In this ever-changing world, one constant has always remained—my love for caring for animals. Over the years, I’ve been privileged to build lasting friendships with clients and their pets. I’ve celebrated new puppies and kittens coming home, and I’ve shared tears when it was time to say goodbye.
My family is full of love (and fur). It includes my husband, our two kids, Henry the Golden Retriever, Topher and Hobbes the tabby cats, and Charizard the Bearded Dragon.
When I’m not at work, you’ll find me outdoors—hiking, camping, or exploring the woods with my boys. And when I’m home, I love nothing more than curling up with a good book, a cup of coffee, a couple of purring cats, or baking a few loaves of sourdough bread.
